I know, I should be updating my blog. But i hate this site already. I hate the old evoBlog I'm using. I should just use wordpress but I think its bloated somewhat. Its a fine piece of software but it has been bloated IMHO since 2.1 or something. I have been slowly working on my site which supposedly is for 08 but now its nearly 09 already. Sad case. You can see it here. I just finished coding the gallery, its perfect for my need anyway. I have some more features I want to add into it like photo tags and what not.

2008 seems to fly so fast, without realizing, it has been like 5 months since I moved to Seri Kembangan. I've been a busy little bee day and night, working. (and playing games :P)

My car isn't doing so well and I have decided not to buy another City. I will decide in March 09 Because of that, I didn't get to travel anywhere for Eid. My sisters and grandma came to SK and so did my parents. We had our first selangor raya and on the first day, we went to Ipoh to visit my father's side of the family and on the second day, we went to Raub to see my wife's mother's side of the family.

Speaking of games, yesterday evening, around 6pm, I brought home this year's most anticipated RTS (coz you that Blizzard will keep delaying Starcraft 2), RED ALERT FREEKIN 3.

eX had a mini-gath / berbuka puasa at Mid Valley last Saturday. I haven't to Mid Valley that much so I got lost both on the way to Mid Valley and on the way back. Sad eh? Matdo, Syaz, Faat, Jebat and Mizan couldn't make it. I had a blast even though it was only for breaking fast.

Aku dapat balik dah kereta aku for over a week now. But since ade problem sini sana lagi macam post-accident punye damages. Adeh...Pening pale pikirkannye. Skarang tengah main tarik tali ngan insurance adjuster and workshop. Hope all goes well, kalau tak, I really have to set aside new funds untuk a new car soon. Maybe I'll wait for the new city.

I will start poking the insurance guys about my car tomorrow, I gave them enough time to play around already. They assigned the adjuster last tuesday but still no word from her.

Aku antar bini aku gi KTM serdang pagi tadi, on the way balik. lepas traffic light, ade moto crossed aku kat traffic light (sape yang familiar ngan seri kembangan, tengok simpang 3 kat ngan post office tu), terperanjat buat aku tersasar langgar tiang telepon, hentam lori kedai perabot.

OUCH.

Oh, aku tade pape, sihat je, keluar muke tak mandi. Ngan selekehnye. Pastu orang Honda datang 3 orang tolong aku setelkan semuanya. Ni first real experience aku accident. My brother came to the rescue, The Honda Hotline was very helpful, the 2 guys from Honda workshop was very helpful too, the tow truck driver they sent was very polite and nice, the people that helped me was nice too, the taukey of the shop was shocked but was calmed about it, the police at SK police station (technically IPD Subang Jaya) was nice and helpful too.

I'm glad to be alive, it could have been must worst. Allah tak kasi ujian kalau dia tahu kita tak mampu handle. Kena muhasabah lagi kot. Kafarah dosa.

Sian bini aku dah sampai KLCC turned back naik balik LRT, sampai komuter station tunggu kat 2 jam sebab aku tak setel lagi kat Polis station.

Hari ni birthday Abah (53) ngan Capek(20?) so selamat ulang tahun closer to death hari lahir. Semoga usia yang Allah kasi tak di sia-siakan.



Yesterday parents aku datang sebab ayah aku ajak aku temankan dia pegi tengok students dia mase kat MATRI dulu enter MindMap Competition kat UTAR, PJ. Aku ingatkan budak-budak laki, rupenye pompuan sume. Yang masuk competition tu nampak macam pandai-pandai sume, geek2 je muke. Yang tua pun ade. Sib baik ayah aku tak join skali.

Today me and the wife and my brother (mcBubur) went to see Hancock at Puchong IOI. Very nice movie, not the typical unoriginal comic-book-adaptation like most movies these days. I'd give it a 7.5/10 just cause of Will Smith and Charlize Theron. After that we went groceries shopping at Giant and went back home.

Around 9pm, Buah came to my house as KluangMan with his Batpod and we went TT at Kepong with the FsN guys. Papa Fsn - ZipD, Alvin, Silver, Sean[gay]392 and z0 was already there when we arrived.

So I had a fun day today unlike most days where I just sit in this room 24/7 working.

Hakeem ngan Capek gemok datang rumah aku for 3 mornings sebab pakcik Kamaruddin ade kursus(la kot?) kat Putrajaya. Keje depa main cs je ngan tengok citer. haha.

Here's an update to my streamyx issue I had since I moved to Seri Kembangan. I saw that my adsl light wasn't blinking anymore yesterday and a few hours later, I got a call saying they found a port for me. Hurray?

So my effort paid off! After 2 emails to their CEO, both forwarded to Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the last one also forwarded to the Prime Minister's Office, one week later - they "found" a port. LOL

Funny how you actually have to push TM to speed up the process and this isn't the first time. I do hope TM step up their game cause I'm really tired playing the see-saw game with them.

So kudos to the MCMC respondent (Siti Khadijah) for nagging to TM I guess. At least someone is good at theirjob

I'm a bit late in my posts but this happened last week. My new laptop's Vista broke when I got back from Acap's wedding. Can't even load the OS, all I get is a black screen. Since the laptop is relatively new, I called Dell and asked for a hdd replacement even though I know that it can be easily fixed using the recovery
DVD.

They only asked me when I am free so they can send over a technician to replace the drive. They even let me keep the old drive for 2 weeks in case I wanted to do some backup. SWEET!

So 5/5 for a great service from Dell.

Ps. The technician was shy when I asked whether it is ok for me to take a picture of him fixing the laptop.

His Steveness announced iPhone 3G last night while I was trying to stay awake. Barely. It looks better, with more features, 3g, gps, yada yada. Apple will launch the phone to 70 countries worldwide but no Malaysia? NOOOOOOOOO. Officially, thats a bad thing but we can still get the unlocked version at your nearest handphone shop soon enough. At a whooping $199 for the 8gb version, I'm sold!

Veli the busy 2 weeks ni ngan weddings kawan-kawan. Bermula ngan 2 weeks ago, Hanizam kawen skali ngan 20 Dekad MATRI, pastu balik JB kejap then pegi balik Perlis the next day untuk kenduri acap. Penat tak terkata, siap kena sengat penyengat lagi kat rumah acap.

First time dapat test power my new 70-200mm F4 IS. Hik hik.

Gambar dah upload sket kat my photoblog and flickr. Kat sini tak leh upload lagi sebab internet speed sangat la slow. Still no streamyx, port depan ran out. I was promised a one month rebate and 5/6 (2 more days) ni setel masalah port tu. If not, I'll start banging their front doors lagi. Lalala.

I have finally moved to Seri Kembangan. On the bright side of things, I got a nice house, 2 storeys, corner lot and a very nice owner. Not too far from anywhere I want to go. Overall, I'm happy with the move. Kudos to capek and my brother for finding the house.

Bad news is that I got screwed by TM again. They said that internet is avaiable here and now they're saying all ports are full. Liars. So this being the 100th time they screwed with me, I emailed their CEO and cc'd it to Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commision and I already got a response from both party. LOL. This is kinda cool.

OH, my wife is still in Kuantan due to the Microsoft Cert shes taking for a month. Poor me, alone (technically not alone but still..) and missing her. Good luck dear. Sorry I couldn't help you with your cert thing but I will clean/decorate the house for you instead.

Next weekend aku pindah dah, ke Seri Kembangan. (Poji, bile lagi?) Tiba-tiba rase macam sayang plak nak tinggalkan pantai timur ni. Walaupun macam-macam aku merungut kat sini, sedar tak sedar, dah hampir dua tahun kat sini. Hik Hik.

Sabtu lepas aku gi check out new mall yang supposed to be the biggest mall kat pantai timur. Punyelah susah carik parking, rupenye tak siap lagi mallnye, carrefour saje gatal open awal sket. Sakit hidung aku berabuk tempat tu. Sad thing is, aku dah nak pindah baru depa nak build something yang menunjukkan ade sign of pembangunan kat sini.

Urusan pindah kebanyakkannya dah setel, tinggal nak terminate line tepon, streamyx, cabut aircond ngan astro. Tu je la kot.

Hari ni aku dapat XPS m1330 aku yang aku order last friday. Laju gak depa antar. Hik hik. I know I know aku kata aku tak wow'ed pun ngan laptop ni tapi oh well, at least ade laptop, kalau tak jenuh bawak pc merata.

Sedihnye performance dia main CS tak memuaskan!

Lagi 3 minggu aku kena pindah dari rumah ni, last weekend pegi lagi kl sebab my wife's grandparents was hospitalized. Pastu alang-alang, pegi tengok rumah skali ngan capek ngan ikram. Sorry guys 2/3 kali I was a bit late.

Sabtu tu gi PWTC ade bookfair, my mother in-law sepatutnye ade book-launching tapi ade masalah printing, jadi book pre-order punye ceremony je. keh keh. The book fair sucked sebab panas, orang macam pelarian je, punye la ramai, bodoh2 pun banyak, one way punye path jalan depa masuk gak. Terserempak ngan kawan mashi dua orang, Leeya ngan Moon. Aku ingatkan promoter-promoter buku2 budak tu tiba2 tau name aku, rupenye kawan mashi je.

Pastu gi KLCC teman my father in-law carik laptop. Pastu jumpe la ikram ngan capek kat sana, ikram carik gfx card ATI 3870 kot2 ade good deal. Tapi semalam dia dah beli nVidia 8800GT so bye-bye ATI. Aku tak beli pape pun, ingatkan nak order Dell XPS M1330 tapi lepak belek2, dia tade "wow" factor. Gadget with no "wow" factor ni nanti aku letak tepi meja je tak guna. Membazir la plak. Ingat lagi aku beli camera, sanggup tidur tepi camera. haha. Maybe I will get it nanti but not right now, tengah explore other options. Maybe macbook/macbook pro baru in June?

Ahad pegi tengok rumah kat Lestari Perdana near Jusco Taman Equinne. Kinda far from the Bukit Jalil's LRT station. Capek tengah tengok lagi kat Puncak Jalil, hopefully dapat rumah yang elok.

I'm a huge fan of the c&c franchise and I'm REEAAAALLY glad EA didn't kill the franchise after they took over Westwood studios a few years ago. Anyway, I received the expansion pack to C&C 3: Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath today today Pre-ordered it last week and arrived 2 days late! It comes with a limited edition Razer DeathAdder which is cool. I'm more of a logitech fan. Check out these pics. Sexay~

1. Pc drama
Erm, 3 hari lepas, aku taleh upload pape by ftp/sftp/etc. Tak tau la nape, mule-mule upload txt file boleh lagi, pastu langsung, sume taleh. STIMIXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I KNOW YOU'RE BEHIND THIS! Aku ingatkan ape la aku install kat pc aku sampai lingkup uploading capabilities aku. Since aku dual-boot Vista SP1, aku try la Vista, never really committed ngan Vista lagi sebab tak best sangat UI dia, although laju lagi vista dari XP kat pc aku ni. Vista boleh upload? Hmm? HMMM? lain ke vista punye compare ngan xp? aku takde mood nak jadi nancy drew so tak kisah la.

Pendekkan citer, aku gi format XP aku, kah kah, bad mistake. Tak work pun uploadnye. 1 hour of my life I'll never get back. Dia padam Vista punye boot loader, taleh dah dual boot ngan Vista. Oh noes! Aku try pakai cd vista nak restore balik boot loader dia, tak work. Damn! So aku pun tgh malas mase tu, reinstall je la Vista. Boleh pulak upload. kambeng tol. So restore balik sume khazanah2 untuk buat kerje.

Last week aku beli Vantec enclosure untuk dua bijik 500gb hdd aku, cabut bawak keluar dari PC.



2. Drama Abah
After one month since abah decided nak amik myvi, dapat gak akhirnye. Alhamdulillah. Panjang citer dia. Tarik tali ngan bank islam, bodo punye bank. So unprofessional. Mintak tolong abg rafiz. Try ngan maybank, dapat. Stok plak tade, stok ade color yang nak tade, last2 dapat gak Ivory White premium 1.3 nye. Asalnye mintak SE manual, abah thought it was too ranggi, hip, sportish untuk dia yang berambut smoky grey. Sedih la plak, Volvo dah tade, rindu keter kebal tu. First time aku bawak volvo lame tu, menggeletar lutut. Kah kah.



3. Other stuff

Ikram dah start keje kat tempat baru setelah contract dia abis kat tempat lame tu. Have fun with Oracle.

Nenek aku kate dia nak kawen lain, sebab ramai orang tua skarang kawen lain katenye. Dia nak masuk TV ngan paper. Gatal tol.

Aku balik Rawang lagi minggu lepas, dari Kamis sampai Ahad. Napy, kawan baik now ex-coworker aku (semoga ko berjaya dalam path yang ko amik, a fresh start for the next phase in life) kaweng!!!

Ajak abu dia bz, ajak Pojie dia on-call plak. Since Napy photographer, dia taleh la amik gambar dia kawen sendiri, so dia hire 3 orang untuk tangkap dia kaweng, aku plak pegi la nyibuk ngan kamera kenit aku, ade la sikit gambar.

Tak larat nak cerita sume yang berlaku dari Kamis sampai Ahad, yang penting, best, penat, kenyang, hepi, sampai rumah terus rindu tilam keras aku.

No, bukan aku yang pindah, parents aku yang pindah. Akhirnya mereka meninggalkan perlis setelah almost 9 tahun kat sana. Petang jumaat lepas siap kerja, aku pun gi betolak ke Rawang. Bawak Abbas skali, malam tu gi lepak ngan Ammar, Amin ngan Pan kat Taman Malinja lagi, makan nasi lomak again, sedap plak. Tido kat rawang, hampir kena saman, polis suruh mintak ampun je. Sib baik.



Esok pagi tu breakfast kat Tesco Ampang, pegi IKEA pastu gi The Curve plak. Tengah shopping kat situ, dapat call kata Nani eksiden (my aunt). OH noes. My cousin said Nani kat emergency ward kat Hospital Sungai Buloh. Bergegas la ke sana lepas makan donut Pan belanja. Sampai sana, tengok Nani jap, rupenye tak teruk sangat, Alhamdulillah. Dia kata dia blackout mase tengah driving, lompat atas ramp, terbang langgar keter on the other side of the road, head on. Keter gen2 tu terbabas masuk rumah orang (gate je la) and keter Nani ancus depan.

My uncle plak datang mase kami tengah melepak tunggu Paksu kat hospital tu, lepas Paksu setelkan semua, Nani pun leh keluar, naik wheelchair. Lutut je luka, kena jahit, tapi macam shocked lagi. Malam tu parents aku pun sampai ngan Lori #1. Ade 2 lori, 1 lori untuk buku2 abah je and barang2 kecik.

Esok pagi tu datang satu lori lagi, sabat2 dari gombak datang tolong. Ammar Usop pun datang, tak ingat dia kata dia dari mana. Petang tu lepas tido kat rumah Nani jap rehat, balik Kuantan balik..

Kamis ni pegi balik, sebab kenduri Napy hari ahad. Lagipun kamis ni Awal Muharram, bole tolong2 ummi kemas ke ape and settlekan ape yang perlu. Hoh, penat pun tak ilang lagi. Aku gelong sket hari ni, sakit tengkuk ngan pinggang je la selalunya kalau banyak drive.

Welcome 2008, I don't really have a resolution or anything but it goes the same every year, self-improvement is a must, I have less than 15 months to reach my goals or more of a list of "things to accomplish before I'm 25". The other usual stuff, perform ibadah more, read Qur'an more (at least I do listen to them more now), be a better husband (a few books on this topic my dad gave me on this I haven't finished yet).

I really should work out more, I mean the other day, I was cutting grass on my lawn and that night, I had the nastiest back-pain and my arm ached until the next day. My god, I really should use my body more, it seems that only my fingers are getting the action everyday. So I need to find time for that.

I fancy a telephoto lens but I still can't decide whether to get the 135L or 70-200 L f4 IS. I have to decide before mehed gets married this June or even Hanizam’s wedding in May. I can only afford to buy 1 expensive lens per year because it costs an arm and a leg.

Lastly, I'm going to rewrite this stupid blog script and ditch the old evoblog. Need a new script that is more web 2.0ish – like wordpress but I don’t want to use WP cause then I’d lose all my photos. So I need to build a photoblog script then, no problemo since I just built a site for that last month.

Aku lunch lewat sket hari ni, kol 3 baru nak keluar. Keluar rumah nampak ade kad oren, ade package yang kena collect kat Post Office. Yay, baju aku abu dah post tapi mesti aku miss postman tu semalam mase aku pegi keluar bandar. Aku pun pergi la, masuk dalam post office tu aku beratur untuk amik barang aku. Tiba-tiba ade pekerja post office tu panggil aku masuk dalam bilik. First time plak kena panggil masuk dalam sebab parcel.



Dalam bilik tu, dia tunjuk kotak koyak-koyak kat aku, at first aku masih blur sket. Pastu bos dia datang, ngan sorang lagi. So 3 orang la dalam bilik tu, kat kotak dia tulis "Dato` Seri Dr. Munzir Hazazi Rosdi bin Dr.Baharom". Ah sudah, Abu ni, I'm in deep shit now. Bos dia pun tanye, aku ke orang ni, aku kate ye lah, kawan aku buat prank je ni. Dia pun kata lah taleh buat camtu, depa dah risau siap call pengarah daerah tanye ape nak buat, package untuk dato` seri dah koyak. HAHAHAHAHAha. Mane leh antar package koyak kat Dato` Seri ek? Depa dah nak antar balik ke sender dah sebab koyak.

Bos dia kata boleh kena saman dua-dua pihak, yang hantar dan yang terima sebab practical joke abu buat. Dato` ok lagi, Dato` Seri depa pun dah risau. Haha. Aku pun acknowledge je la. Aku cakap la dalam kotak tu ade baju basah aku tertinggal kat rumah Abu hari tu, bos dia pun bantai gelak. Dia kata kena call balik pejabat daerah tu sebab "false alarm" je. Mesti "err, tade pape, budak2 buat lawak je tu, kain basah dia dalam kotak." hahahaha.

Aku pun keluar dari bilik tu, bawak keluar kotak yang koyak-koyak tu, sampai dalam keter je, bantai gelak, terus call Abu. Adeh....sakit perut aku.

It has been quite a fast year for me. I got married with the love of my life, I spent like half a year in JB, traveled a LOT, had a reunion, and many more. Lets revisit major events that happened this year shall we. Here's a summary of things that happened throughout the year.

January
- My mom came to visit me for a few weeks. I was sick back then.



February
- Pojie came to my house showing off his Macbook Pro. /me dreams of a MBP



- Faheem spent a week here while waiting for his SPM results.



- McD went to Korea to see Hyori Lee.



March

- Kaklong got her black myvi, too bad it doesn't come in pink.



- and two weeks later, she had a little accident. Dented the left side of the front bumper.



- celebrated my birthday with 2 slices of cake and orange juice. SAD



April

- Abu and Capek came to Kuantan and I got my Canon 400d



- Stopped by at Pojie's on the way to JB.



- Napy got engaged!



May

- Nenek's birthday, shes 71 or 72 or 73 - who cares, her IC is inaccurate due to the fact that she was born during the Japanese occupation of Malaya.
- A lot of wedding preparation, went to kursus kawen and etc.



June

- I ended my 3 years of bachelorhood



- Got a new 500gb hdd which is full already.

- Got a new 22" lcd for my wife which later I used for myself and gave my 19" to her.

- Visited my wife's grandparents at Raub on the way back from KL



July

- Went to Kemaman (first time I went to Terengganu actually) to visit Encik Pojie.




August

- Went back to Perlis to visit my folks. Stopped by at Abu's in Ipoh.



September

- JB again for us, this time Kak Siti from Brunei decided to take a vacation and visit her aunt.



October

- Eid! Raye!



November

- Missed my friends in Ipoh, decided to pay them a visit



- Bought an Ipod Touch
- Wife's birthday

December

- Ikram's convocation



- JB yet again

- High school Reunion

Recently, I noticed the spoolsv.exe keeps hogging my cpu resources like monkey with a banana. So I googled around and today I finally stumbled upon the solution.

First, get some breathing room - go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services and stop the Print Spooler. Turn off the printer. Now go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS and delete the files there. I found '00020.SHD' and '00020.SPL'. Now turn your printer back on and restart the service. Check task manager, spoolsv.exe should be at 00%. Whew!

Aku baru balik dari Reunion kat Cameron, penat seh, dari JB pegi KL, then ke Ipoh. Tido semalam, ke cameron plak, turun balik Ipoh then balik Kuantan. Zing! Kalau boleh teleport kan senang.

Anyway aku malas tulis balik ape aku tulis kat photoblogs aku kat sini. Aku dok testing system photoblogs.net yang aku buat, bukan tanak upload gambar kat sini..

My wife celebrated her 21st birthday yesterday. Kami pegi Tanjung Lumpor for dinner ngan Ummi, Angah and Man ngan Min. Abah ade meeting so dia tak datang la. Mase meal tu aku sorang je rase makanan-makanan tu tade kick sebab aku tak biasa sangat makan seafood but still, kenyang je. Balik tu singgah Secret Recipe for Chocolate Indulgence.

Last friday aku tinggalkan isteriku sebab dia ade softskill *lagi* and balik ke bandar aku dibesarkan, bandar aku paling familiar, bandar aku paling rase home, Ipoh.

Aku gi ngan abbas, kami bertolak kol 6pm 7pm, singgah makan kat Temerloh pastu direct ke Ipoh. Sampai simpang pulai, lepak ngan Abu dulu, makan roti gegar. Best-giler. Pastu gi rumah capek, tido la, ape lagi.

Esok pagi tu aku antar keter service, dah 2500+ overdue dari lepas raya hari tu, tak sempat-sempat. Abu patut amik kami bawak pergi jumpe Abg Azman tapi dia ade hal ngan pekerja dia curik air rumah orang, tsk tsk tsk, 3 jam tunggu, kebulur separuh mati dah.

Sampai kat kedai Nuhaa nye, kami pun melahap, sampai full. Sembang-sembang, pali pun ade. Pastu amik keter, pegi solat kat masjid negeri, kena saman ngan MBI (WOI! org solat pun kena bayar parking ke?), pegi Jusco beli seluar ngan souvenirs, singgah rumah Pak Ngah amik passport Kak Rina, pegi jumpe Pali untuk "lunch" kat D`nina. Makan nasi ngan kambing ngan ayam tandoori.

Balik dari lunch tu rehat jap, lepas rehat kami gi Kopitiam pastu amik Fitri and terus ke rumah Abu, ade kenduri "bye-bye" sebab Issam ngan adik dia nak pegi Syria ngan Mesir. Abis kenduri kami gi tengok bola where aku kata dah, Ronaldo akan score sebijik, sibbaik MU tak menang je. Damn lucky Arsenal!

Esok nye 6.45 pagi Abu dah call suruh siap nak mandi air panas, tunggu dia kat simpang 4 kat simpang pulai, jalan cameron. Tunggu la sangat, kami sempat minum-minum pun dia tak sampai lagi, pastu tunggu Pali plak, terus gi mandi. Best, macam sauna la plak.

Agenda seterusnya, KL. Capek nak ikut skali, so ke KL la kami. On the way ke KL makcik Ain (mak capek) siap sempat buat lawak dramatis plak kate dia kat hospital, Capek dah panic dah. Rupenye dia gurau je, dia ziarah kawan dia kat hospital. Singgah rawang, antar passport kak Rina yang nak balik indon end of this month and dapat picit-picit pipi Imran, haha. Haris makin sumbung skarang. Mase kat rawang tu, kak Rina hidangkan kami bertiga Ribena ngan kek coklat, sedap giler. Dia baru hidang tak sampai seminit licin, aku dapat 3 keping, capek 4(or more) keping abbas 5 gak tak silap aku. Haha, melahap.

Then terus ke lowyat, patutnya aku nak beli casing tapi hanizam sms kata dia demam, tade kat kedai hari ni. Damn, rosak plan and tak dapat merasa Kenny Roggers. Pusing-pusing carik casing takde yang berkenan, Smilidon tu rupenye buruk in real life. Coolermaster tak jumpe, tape la. Lain hari kot. Carik enset plak, enset aku dah tercabut battery cover, malas tukar housing. Pusing-pusing carik enset, tade yang bekenan sampai melecet kaki aku. Asalnya aku minat la gak kat k770i, t650i, w910i tapi tengok-tengok, kecik je, macam tade thrill pun kalau pakai. Malas lah..

Turun bawah nak balik dah, singgah la ke MacStudio, nak tengok demo iPod Touch. Hik hik, lepas tengok demo, wow, best la pulak. One call mintak izin kat Mashittah nak beli, terus amik. Wee~

On the way balik ke Kuantan, singgah jumpa pan lepas aku sesat kat Ampang. Sorry amin, hujan and aku tengah kejar masa sangat-sangat mase tu, tak sempat nak jumpe ko or jumpe Poji.

Aku bawak Mashittah gi pantai last sunday lepas dia abis kursus softskills dia, dah lama dia mintak, tak sempat je nak pegi. Actually, this is the first time pegi sejak kawen. Note to men out there, bile sampai pantai, pompuan nak spend time, jangan plak sembang pasal work tau, tak pasal2 kena marah nanti. hik hik. Aku mane la tau...

After 3 years and 7 months, I finally upgraded my pc. Has it been 3 years already? But my new rig is not completed yet, all it needs is a new chassis and a good PSU. I like thermaltake's but lately, their design isn't that innovative and the interior sucks. Cooler Master on the other hand doesn't seem to know how to create light weight chassis. Some would recommend me to get the Lian-Li, Antec or Silverstone's but their exterior design is too boring. Not my type. I like stylish without overdoing it.

I have narrowed down my choices to

Cooler Master CM690. Nice exterior and interior but BTX and its 9.8kg.



and

Raidmax Smilodon. Its kinda nice compared to all the other chassis.



Which one should I go with?

2 Hari sebelum raya aku balik Raub, kampung Mashittah. Jalan dia bengkang-bengkok dari Jerantut ke Raub tu, mak aih. Raya pertama je lepas balik solat raya, makan-makan, sesi salam-salaman (which family aku tak penah nak ade, keh keh) and nangis-nangis tu. Aku tatau nape, taleh kuar air mate aku, macam orang emotionally stunted, nak tergelak ade la. Ucap je la "maap lah kalau ade salah silap yee..." kat org aku peluk. Lepas tu aku ngan Mashittah bertolak je JB, sampai KL on time, tapi dari kl sampai lepas dari seremban tu, merangkak, kat sejam setengah terhegeh-hegeh.

Sampai je JB, boleh dengar suara tati menjerit2 kat tingkap. Tahun ni makcik aku balik raye kat mesia sebab rindu shopping-shopping malls kat sini agaknye. Mak aku kena rubella, dia beraya ngan ayah aku kat perlis. Jenuh aku pujuk dia tanak turun JB, ketapi, flight, keter, bas, sume tanak. Last-last dapat penyakit, makbul doa dia agaknye.

Hari raye pertama, penat travelling je, tak pegi mana. Raya kedua pegi rumah adik beradik arwah Atuk kat sini, tok ngah ngan tok anis. Raya ketiga aku dah start kerja tapi tade mud nak kerja sebab gaji tak masuk lagi. Semua orang lain balik and Tati pergi beraya kat Melaka. Tok Ngah, Abg Rafiz ngan Pipi datang beraya then malam tu Tok Mamu plak datang beraya. Lepas tu kami rai ikram yang nak start kerja esoknye kat Burger King.

Malam tadi plak Uncle Johan belanja makan kat Nina's. Aku order Briyani Mutton dia, sedap~ Pagi tadi aku keluar carik nenek tengok dia tertido dekat buai. hahhaha. Sibbaik tak meninggal kat buai tu. Kalau tak jadi frontpage Metro.

I'm leaving for Raub and then back to JB for Eid. This is the first time I'm celebrating Eid as a married man. So, Eid Mubarak everyone. Selamat Hari Raya. I couldn't find time to send out cards this year, crazy busy.

Hari ni bukak pose ngan nasi goreng je. Aku tak makan banyak mase berbuka. Tak minat kuih2 banyak2, teringin cucur udang kat ipoh dulu. Petang tadi pegi Kuantan carik kasut untuk bini isteri aku, patutnya gunting rambut dia sekali tapi tak sempat. Aku tawarkan kehebatan aku menggunting tapi dia tak kasi. Sape kate aku tak reti gunting? hahaha. Potong nombor 1 terus boleh la. Nanti jadi macam syafirah amani..

Ramadhan datang lagi, semoga kite perbanyakkan amal ibadah especially bacaan al-quran dalam bulan ni. Selamat berpuasa

Nenek aku muncung, tak bawak dia jalan. So aku bawak la dia gi danga bay. Kaklong ngan Mashittah nak naik merry-go-round ngan cup pusing2 tu, bawak la dia sekali. Haha. Mase naik merry go round tu ade pakcik2 tue tepi tu tengok jerit "teringat zaman silam keee". hahaha. siot je.

50 tahun Merdeka? Merdeka my ass. Tu je komen aku. Tanak elaborate. Neway, aku balik Kajang, tengok fireworks mini kat Putrajaya, tak dapat gi Finale punye ahad sebab kena balik jb dah. Aku packing punye la hebat, toothbrush punye charger pun bawak, tapi tiba-tiba, charger paling penting aku tertinggal - charger camera. Ampes. Hari ni dok buat WTB (want to buy) topik kat forum-forum photography mesia for a 3rd party charger, pegi tanya kat kedai gambar semalam, dia kata 288. Eee... Aku tak perlu 2 charger la plak. Terpikir plak nak amik terus Battery Grip so boleh pakai AA batteries for the time being.

PC aku plak merajok, tau aku nak replace dia next week for a Core2Duo 6750. Semalam main game kejap sambil print gambar - BAD IDEA. Tiba-tiba pc aku froze, lepas restart taleh load Windows. Profile XP corrupted, restart balik dia create temp profile. Rupenye ntuser.dat corrupted. Taleh repair plak tu, samada format or copy sume file dalam profile lama ke new profile - damn. Aku pun pilih format je la, cepat sikit. Dari pakai a messed up OS.

Mula-mula ingat nak amik 17-40, tapi since tamron ni sharper than 17-40 (2.8 vs 4 :P), Oh well, maybe one day leh dapat 16-35 or same ngan poji punye 24-70 :P

Hari ni mashittah pegi ikut UMP dia pegi Sungai Lembing, aktiviti kebajikan. Tinggal la aku sorang kat rumah buat keje, cangkul taik kucing depan rumah aku. huu~ I miss my wife

Everyday I've been getting this annoying "out of memory" error from XP. Sometimes you know its happening when you open a open and it wont load, open explorer and the menus are empty, clicking someone's name on YM and it wont open any IM window, photoshop crashing, etc. But why is it happening? I still have over 500b of physical memory available.

Googled and found a page in Microsoft's KB. Just sharing this in case anyone else is having the same problem.

Just got back from a 1800km trip to Perlis. Will update later. Posting pictures first.

Setelah weeks of planning, last week aku balik gak perlis setelah 7 bulan tak balik. Kamis petang lepas kerja and lepas mashittah abis kelas, kami bertolak ke Kajang untuk tido sana for the night dulu. Esok paginya pergi amik Nawwar kat kolej Keris Mas, UKM pastu terus ke Shah Alam amik Ikram. Ingatkan dapat jumpa Yayon (my aunt) jap tapi dia kuar. Pastu kami meraba carik jalan ke KLCC (maklum la, tak penah nak gi sendiri sebelum ni) for the Pikom PCFair!~

Wee, aku mula2 ade list kat handphone aku benda nak carik kat PCFair. Wacom Graphire4 untuk adik aku, PC.com subscription untuk aku, ngan keyboard & mouse set untuk Mashittah. Pastu last2 wacom tak jumpe, aku end up tak subscribe pada pc.com sebab Ikram yang subscribe, buat ape ade 2 copy of the same magazine kan? Beli mouse cute and keyboard logitech untuk mashittah, cartridge Selphy 710 aku ngan RAM untuk pc mashittah. Ikram pun beli gak ram skali.

Pastu kitorang pegi ipoh plak dengan hajat nak makan nasi kandar kat masjid negeri, tapi sebab terlame kat pcfair, tak sempat, so gi wongge kat pekan lama je la. Rindu gak wongge nye. Gi ngan abu, akmal ngan fadhli.

Lepas diberi bekal kerepek oleh mak abu, cepedak 4 biji oleh abu kami gi Tesco nak carik buku Harry Potter nawwar ngan filter yang ummi pesan. Tade bukunye, jalan balik perlis. Sampai sana around 11pm tak silap aku.

Esoknye gi rumah pak aji ngan arwah cikgu tajol. Pastu petang tu gi makan ngan family, laksa Kuala Perlis.

Ahad pun bertolak balik. 12jam later (ponat den, ape la org lain taleh drive), sampai kuantan.



Oh, Abu dah sihat, alhamdulillah. Last week terlantar je atas katil kena denggi.

We (me and the wife) just got back from Kemaman. My neck is sore from the hour-long drive... haha. Poji invited us to his parents` house the other day; I thought it would be a good idea since I've never been to Terengganu before. Kemaman is roughly 60km from Kuantan but the roads are undergoing heavy expansion, what was supposed to be a 1/2 hour driver took twice the time.

After meeting his mom, dad, ate `kampung food` and prayed, we went out to the beach. OH, we rescued a little turtle (turtle babies are called what?). It hatched and was stuck on some net and was desperately trying to get out. Lucky for that little guy, it wasn't his time to go yet, Poji set the little guy free. huzzah!

Neway, pegi lah megamall (yang tak seberapa mega), makan breakfast kat mcD. Air hot coffee dia buat lidah aku melecur. blah. Pastu gi tengok Transformers sekali lagi!!! (YES! GO SEE IT!) Lepas solat kami turun bawah ade Honda punye Klik thingy yang ade budak-budak menyanyi. Pastu kami pegi SenQ jap survey barang. Patah balik tengok ade Nikki plak menyanyi. Aleya pun ade skali. Geng hotfm ke? Aku tak minat sangat tapi nak tangkap je la gambar. Hik Hik.

Pastu jalan kaki balik service centre. Dia kata kol 4, kami balik 3.45, ended up leaving at 5.20. @#!^#@^#@^> Dah la miss ade pakcik tu nak jumpe pasal website korperasi. Sian dia kena balik Temerloh. On the way balik singgah Giant beli barang-barang dapur la.

I think its nice and inspiring. On top of common sense, I think children should be taught a lot of islamic basics like tauhid and stuff, like my mom did for me when I was little. Still remember the drawing of a bird while teaching tauhid rubbubiyyah and uluhiyyah. Hua~ Camner la aku nak ajar anak aku nanti...

Jumaat lepas aku amik cuti sebab nak balik Kajang amik sijil nikah, jumpe umi ngan abah kat Rawang mase depa singgah nak hantar Nawwar masuk UKM and balik Raub, kampung Mashittah. So perjalanan mula lepas kerja petang kamis, terus ke Rawang, amik syafiq sebab aku tak reti-reti jalan lagi walaupun dah bape kali pegi Lowyat. LCD baru aku yang beli last week tu dah KONG so Hanizam (Thundermatch best - iklan sikit) replacekan la. Mase kami sampai kedai, dia tengah dengan khusyuknye main DOTA testing LCD yang nak replace aku punye yang rosak. Pastu dia kalah, dia kata aku yang sebabkan dia kalah. Ade bad feng sui la kot. haha. Lepas jumpe dia, kami pun balik Kajang. Tak sempat nak belanja-membelanja ngan hanizam sebab aku pun sengkek, dia pun kata ujung bulan. Nanti InsyaAllah aku datang lagi naaa...

Jumaatnye, lepas mandi sume, terus pegi pejabat agama dengan terrernye tanpa sesat. haha. Lepas amik sijil nikah yang akak kerek tu pesan "jangan lipat, jangan laminate", kami makan sarapan kat kantin pejabat agama tu (uwek! tak sedap).

Lepas tu gi mid valley tengok Transformers! WAH! Best giler!! kalau ade 11/10, aku kasi dah. Pundi kencing aku expand ke satu tahap yang tak penah dia expand sampai lepas abis je citer, aku lari ke toilet macam org 9 bulan pregnant. Mintak maaf je la kat mashittah pas tu sebab tinggalkan dia, kalau tak terkencing dalam seluar plak. Tapi serious, best giler transformers. Ujung minggu ni ade 7 jam to spare sebab ade appointment nak service aircond keter (ingat poji, every 25,000km) nak gi tengok sekali lagi. wuuhuuuu. Go optimuss.

Abis tengok transformers terus balik Kajang sebab nak jumpe kawan aku Dawoud ngan adik dia Faiz which happens to be one of mashittah pun bestest friend. Aku dah lama tak jumpe Dawoudnyer - rasenye ade 6 tahun. Last sekali lepas SPM. Lepas borak-borak ngan dia, terus gi Cheras rumah Pojie (ngan Nini). Dia kata makanan dah sejuk, aku sampai2 dia goreng kopok lekor. Ceh, sejuk apenye.

Bini tersayang aku hadiahkan aku lens baru, 50mm 1.8. Huhu. Ye la, tak macam Napy punye 1.4 USM tapi boleh la. Best je pada aku. Haha.

Malam tu tido lepas ambil Ikram kat Shah Alam, terus balik Rawang sebab tak larat sangat dah. Umi ngan abah pun baru sampai. Sian abah, dia sakit2 sendi. Tak baik lagi. Taleh nak tolong sebab tak dapat cuti Isnin. Kalau dapat, aku dah tinggal keter kat Rawang, bawak depa balik sampai perlis, pastu balik naik bas ke rawang semula.

Semalam on the way the Raub, gi singgah rumah Ghazali kat Gombak. Hepi je dia baru beli laptop baru. Mak dia pun super-friendly. Best2. On the way ke Raub tu aku ngantuk sangat, terhangguk-hangguk kepala, sib baik sampai gak.

Hari ni ingatkan nak balik terus je Kuantan tiba-tiba2 Abu call kata Jo kawen kat Temerloh, so aku pun pegi la. Dapat makan jap, pastu balik. Selamat pengantin baru Jo! Kalau nak mintak tips pape boleh la. HaHa.

Alhamdulillah sampai rumah dengan selamatnya kol 5.30 ptg tadi. Have to work tonight and finish off some of Jacob's tasks before going to bed. ponatnyer...

I have this old pc (Athlon XP 1800+) laying around without hdd and rams to make it work. It used to work until I needed parts to fix my sister's pc. So now the wife needs a pc. Uh oh! Since I'm broke I can't get her a new laptop so I wanted to fix the old pc. I ordered 512mb ram and a new LCD so I could make it work.

Last night, after dusting the case and inserting the ram, turned it on and - nothing. Blah. It only shows a black screen. So I thought, must be the RAM, loose or something, or gfx card. After hours of trying, I decided to plug in my headphones, and tadda - the computer lady says "Processor problem".

I've been busy playing catch up with work since I took my week off. Haven't went on my honeymoon yet, no money, no time. Maybe later. Korea maybe? Bali? UK? (pojie's idea).

I've also been busy cleaning the house to make it more family-ish rather than looking like my bachelor pad.

My lovely wife is cooking nasi lemak right now while watching Oprah.

Hari tu nenek aku celebrate bday dia yang ke 72, di kata dia tak penah dapat cake untuk birthday dia sebelum ni, so aku bawak dia pegi SR. Dapat la birthday cake yang dia kata "the first and the last", suke mintak mati. Busuk sungguh~. Aku doakan dia dipanjang umor agar aku dapat bawak dia gi makan kat Giant tiap-tiap hari (dia tanak makan kat rumah, belagak) selagi aku kat JB ni. ka ka ka

Aku tade la suka sangat AF ni tapi disebabkan duduk JB, my grandma is a huge AF fan, menyampah kadang-kadang. Tapi disebabkan tv dia monopoli, tengok la gak. follow la jugak mase ade kat jb. My neighbor's cat for some odd reasons like to poop at my house. Especially near the gates, It freekin ticks me off! Don't get me wrong, I love cats but if it gets on my freekin nerves, that's a different story.

So my plan is if I my neighbor's cat manage to find it's way into my property, I will put it in a box and and dump it somewhere far far. Kingdom of Far Far Away if you wish.

At last! Napy finally found "the one"! haha. I just got back from Napy's engagement and boy am I tired. The ceremony was yesterday but I was too tired to drive all the way back to Kuantan to I slept the night at my aunt's place. Enough me babling, show me da pics!

How does love works?

First and foremost, nothing comes easy in life. From the moment we were born, it's not easy for our mothers and it is not easy for us as the baby. Then comes the growing part, it is never easy. Why? Because we experience new emotions, new things and we adapt to it, we complement ourselves to our conditions, we learn new things, we learn to give and take and in the process we finally learn that we actually love our parents, our brothers and sisters and our friends. We learn to interact with people and our environments (e.g. trees, parks, nature, the poor, the beggars, animals, pets...). Nothing is perfect. Even ourselves are not perfect. So why leave a girl or a guy just because there are no more sparks? (a situation of imperfection). I think it's all because they do not understand the reality of this world and this life.

Here are the phases that we will go through in our lives:
Couples will fall in love.
Couples will fall out of love. (no more fantasy feelings)
Couples will discover some ugly truths (e.g. their partner never brush their teeth)
Couples give and take, and learn to complement each other's weakness.
Couples get married.
Couples are never perfect and again it is not easy.
Couples again forgive and complement and strive to make things better because they are commited to the relationship.
Couples have kids and live happily ever after.... (with all the struggle and communication and a little fights here and there but with lots of reconciliation...)

That's how things are...

Well, then there are those who just cannot let go of the "fantasy phase" of courtship and that's where you find mistresses, guys cheating on girls, girls cheating on guys.... and all nonsense will happen all because people tend to believe that things are meant to be easy.

In the end....... whether we like it or not.....

Life is never easy.

I was excited when EA announced C&C3 last year and was even more excited to know that Joe Kucan will take on the role of Kane once again. They also brought back FMV with big names playing the characters. Jennifer Morrison from House MD, Grace Park and Tricia Helfer from Battlestar Galactica, Josh Holloway from Lost and Billy Dee Williams from Star Wars. I preordered the Kane Steelbook Edition cause of the freebies.

I haven't much time to play this game but after finishing the GDI campaign. Worth every penny! The Albanian mission was a pain in the ass, I had to retry 4-5 times to get it right. Damn engineers keep dying.
