I've been watching Numb3rs season 2 these past few days and in one of the episode, Charlie and Don's dad said this

The thing about kids, you can't make them into what you want you can teach them values, character, a little common sense but then you have to let you. you have to let them become the man or woman they intend to be..


I think its nice and inspiring. On top of common sense, I think children should be taught a lot of islamic basics like tauhid and stuff, like my mom did for me when I was little.
